AKFA Aluminium consistently implements a sustainability strategy focused on improving the energy efficiency of production processes and reducing environmental impact. One of the key areas of this strategy is the use of renewable energy sources at the Company’s production facilities. Solar photovoltaic systems with a total installed capacity of 445 kW are operated across AKFA Aluminium enterprises. These solar power systems are integrated into the infrastructure of production sites and generate clean electricity for the Company’s own industrial needs.
Solar energy is part of AKFA Aluminium’s integrated approach to building a competitive, innovative and environmentally responsible industrial platform. The use of solar generation supports energy resilience, resource efficiency and the Company’s long-term sustainability objectives.
Solar photovoltaic systems are integrated into the infrastructure of AKFA Aluminium’s production sites and provide clean electricity for internal industrial needs. The total installed capacity of the Company’s solar systems is 445 kW, supporting a more responsible and efficient production model.
In 2025, AKFA Aluminium’s solar energy systems generated more than 602,000 kWh of electricity, exceeding the previous year’s result by 19.3%. In 2024, solar generation amounted to more than 505,000 kWh, demonstrating the increasing role of renewable energy in the Company’s operations.
The use of solar energy helps reduce electricity consumption from external sources, strengthen the energy resilience of production sites and improve the efficiency of natural resource use. It also contributes to reducing the carbon footprint of production processes.
Solar power systems operate at a number of production enterprises within the Group, including facilities related to aluminium profile production, building materials, autoclaved aerated concrete and polymer products. This reflects the practical integration of sustainability principles into industrial operations.
